Growth
Organization, commonly
referred to by its members as Sioux City GO, started in 2002
to give young professionals a voice in the community and
became an official organization in 2004. Young Professional
groups may be new to Sioux City, but are associated with
several other like-minded groups throughout the nation,
including YP Iowa.

|
As a member of Sioux City Growth Organization, we hope you will take
advantage of our many opportunities within the group. We
have several committees within our group that meet
throughout the month; you are encouraged to get involved in any or all of them:
Civic Committee,
Connect Committee,
Community Involvement,
PR Commitee and
Sculpt Siouxland.
New committee members are always welcome and it is a great way to meet fellow members!

In addition to committee opportunities, SCGO also provides its members with opportunities to get involved
in our community through volunteer groups, educational events, networking activities, and
community and government board positions open to SCGO
members. To better connect our members to the community, SCGO sponsors a monthly
after work event called YTRAP (Young Talented Representatives And Professionals) at
various locations around Siouxland with community leaders as guest speakers. YTRAPS are held the 3rd
Thursday of every month from 5:30-7:00 PM.

Membership is only $50 a year. If you are interested in joining SCGO, or have questions,
