This committee organizes meetings and events for SCGO members to stay informed, get involved, and help on a variety of issues including issues of government, economic development, and volunteer opportunities. 

The Civic Committee encourages involvement by maintaining a list of openings on the boards of local organizations, sharing upcoming agendas for the local government Council meetings, and sharing volunteer opportunities.
